UPDATE: There were some issues adding folks to the board. If you are already on Pinterest, please leave your Pinterest name so you can be added that way.

    Handmade Pinterest Part

Pinterest is really a party for the eyes. It is also a great tool for exposure but only if it’s shared. So I’m inviting you to a Pinterest Party. It’s free to join but you must participate. If you need an invite, linkup, then comment below and I’ll get one out to you.

Here’s how the Pinterest Party will work:

    1) Link up one of your creations in the linky below.

2)You will then be added to the shared Pinterest Party board (check your email for notice)

    3) Pin the item before yours to our party board.

    4) Pin at least one other item to your own pinboard. (See an example of my personal pinboard here.)

That’s it. Active boards get lots of views so with more people pinning, the better opportunity your creations have to be seen. Please share on facebook, twitter, etc, and invite other artisans to party. The more the merrier.

At the end of the month, I will share the statistics from the Party board. If you have suggestions on making this party better for everyone, don’t hold back.

DO NOT pin your own items. Anyone doing this will be asked to leave the party. Also, those who have been noted as not participating equally, will not be allowed to join the next party and you link will be removed.

I love this idea of a pinning party!
Here is my suggestion: Items are considered more valuable if they have a # of repins. So when someone links up they link the pin of their item from pinterest like I did with mine (green sea turtle). It gives their pin more valuable AND still links to their shop

I tried to click on the links to join in the fun but got a 404 opps page…

  3. I am hoping I am doing this right lol. So I will pin the piggy to the party board once you email me?

And I pinned the king cards

    • Hi Danielle, I was just drafting next months Pinterest Party info. There were some technical difficulties earlier in the month and I would like to make this as easy and beneficial for everyone as possible. So in the meantime, feel free to pin and share anything you’d like. And thanks for connecting.
